We Want You To Know

The Gospel

You Are Spiritually Dead

You were born naturally into sin as a part of the human race. You inherited Adam's sinful nature of rebellion against God, you are lost and dead to spiritual understanding.

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
— Ephesians 2:3
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
— Ephesians 2:1
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
— Romans 5:12

You Are A Sinner

You can NOT do any good works that merit salvation from God. As a sinner even your good works are filthy before God.

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
— Isaiah 64:6
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
— Romans 3:23

You Must be Saved

You must be born again. This means you must be given spiritual life and a new nature to become a child of God, enjoy His blessings, and be saved from a literal, spiritual, and eternal death. This death is everlasting separation and punishment from God Almighty.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
— Jesus Christ Said in John 3:3
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
— John 3:36
...the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
— 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
— Revelation 21:8

Jesus Christ Is Our Substitute

You are invited to come to Christ and receive salvation provided in the complete work of his death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is not limited to one special group or region. Jesus Christ loves sinners, he shed his blood and suffered a horrible death that satisfies the requirements of God, forgives of sin, and makes possible a relationship with God.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
— John 3:16
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
— Romans 5:6-11
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
— Hebrews 2:9

The Fruit Of Salvation

You are not saved without repentance and faith. Only those who repent and believe the Gospel will be saved from God's righteous judgment and eternity in hell.

The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
— Jesus Christ Said in Mark 1:15

REPENT: Repentance is a change of heart and mind that results in a change of action. It is acknowledging your sinful nature not that you have merely sinned but that you are a sinner, it is through conviction sensing your unworthiness, being sorry for your sin, and looking to God for mercy, forgiveness, and cleansing through the blood of Jesus Christ. In essence you side with God against your sin and yourself (Romans 3:24-25).

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
— Acts 3:19
...except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
— Jesus Christ Said in Luke 13:3, 5
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
— 2 Corinthians 7:10

BELIEVE (have faith): To believe and have saving faith is to have complete confidence with total trust in Jesus Christ to deliver you from the penalty and power of sin, to keep you from going to Hell and to take you to Heaven (Acts 10:43).

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
— Ephesians 2:8-9
Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
— Acts 16:30-31
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
— Jesus Christ Said in John 3:18

If Saved Always Saved

ARE YOU SAVED? To be saved means to be eternally safe and secure in Christ. In salvation, God delivers the believer from the PENALTY of sin, does continue to deliver the believer from the POWER of sin, and will yet deliver the believer from the PRESENCE of sin. Salvation is total SURRENDER and COMMITMENT to Christ.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
— Romans 6:23
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
— Jesus Christ Said in John 10:10
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
— 2 Corinthians 5:17
